origami folding instructions

Material for folding is just a square piece of paper. The most comfortable size to fold with is the standard 15cm x 15cm. Of course, other sizes are just fine as well. Make your own folding papers from gift wrapping papers. It is important to remember that the papers are not very thick as it is hard to fold such papers. Other materials that you might need for certain designs are scissors, glue, stapler or string.

birdbase


1. Start with the preliminary base. Fold the edges to the centre.

2. Turn over and do as in step 1.
3. Unfold the folds. Open the flap and stretch them out.4. Do the same for the other side. This is the bird base. Continue with poinsettia
