origami folding instructions

Material for folding is just a square piece of paper. The most comfortable size to fold with is the standard 15cm x 15cm. Of course, other sizes are just fine as well. Make your own folding papers from gift wrapping papers. It is important to remember that the papers are not very thick as it is hard to fold such papers. Other materials that you might need for certain designs are scissors, glue, stapler or string.

christmas tree



1. Make the creases as shown above.2. Fold the bottom tip in.
3. Fold the edges back to the centre.4. Fold the top edges to the centre and unfold.
5. Fold the top corner to the point where the previous creases were.6. Now, fold the flap down to get the stem of the tree.
7. Fold the top edges to the centre as in step 4.8. Turn over and the tree is ready to be placed on a card! Merry Christmas!

That's actually a good design but you could also add a bit to it.

Like where at the back of the tree, where the tiny triangle is tucked up, you can curl up a piece of paper into a cylinder and stick it in there so the tree can stand up.
And also cut the sides to make branches.

Hope this makes your tree look even better.
