origami folding instructions

Material for folding is just a square piece of paper. The most comfortable size to fold with is the standard 15cm x 15cm. Of course, other sizes are just fine as well. Make your own folding papers from gift wrapping papers. It is important to remember that the papers are not very thick as it is hard to fold such papers. Other materials that you might need for certain designs are scissors, glue, stapler or string.

1. Fold and unfold twice.2. Fold all the corners to the centre.
3. Turn over.4. Fold all the corners to the centre again. Turn over.
5. Fold the corners to the centre for the third time. Turn over.6. Open and squash the top and bottom flaps.
7. Undo the right flap and fold it over to the other side. Do the same for the left flap.8. Overlap the two flaps and clasp the tips.
9. It's ready. Take a photo by holding the ends and pushing the thumbs in the middle.10. Remember to put the 'film' by drawing some 'photos' on small pieces of paper and put it underneath the flaps.
